At Audiology Consultants, we do not just guess that the hearing aids are working correctly; we measure it. We utilize Best Practices to ensure that hearing aids are tailored to each patient’s specific ear anatomy and hearing loss prescription, resulting in improved sound quality and enhanced speech understanding. We achieve this by placing a small soft microphone in each ear through a process known as Real Ear Verification. With these measurements, we will adjust the hearing aids based on the individual’s measurements. Real Ear Measures help quantify the hearing aid’s performance and demonstrate the improvement in sound audibility.
Once we collect our prescription measurements, we are off to a great start! We then work together with our patients to ensure that hearing aids are comfortable and fine-tune sound quality to your satisfaction based on how their brain is interpreting the new sounds.
