Custom Earmolds and Earplugs
Patients who need hearing aids will find a large array of choices at the clinic. Some hearing aids require earmolds or pieces of plastic custom shaped to the outer ear. The hearing aid is fitted to the earmold or connected through a tube. Earplugs can also be custom shaped to your ears. These products offer safe and effective treatment for hearing loss and protection.
Diagnostic Audiologic Evaluations
- Hearing Test
A complete hearing evaluation is conducted to determine the type and degree of hearing loss. If a medical concern is discovered, you can expect to be referred to the appropriate medical professional.
- Otoacoustic Emissions Testing
Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) is an automatic test that evaluates the health of the inner ear. This quick and painless evaluation is one of the methods used in hospitals for newborn hearing screenings as well as clinically to confirm hearing loss and detect certain hearing disorders.
- Acoustic Immittance Testing
Depending on your symptoms or test findings, your audiologist may perform a set of automatic tests on your ears to evaluate the overall health and function of your middle ear.

Musician's Ear Plugs and Monitors: Evaluation and Fitting
Musicians need a specific type of hearing protection: they must be able to hear musical notes while also being protected from loud sounds. We offer hearing monitors that let a certain amount or frequency of sound come through. The earplug or monitor have tiny holes that allow some sound to enter the ear. These are recommended for anyone working with musicians like audio technicians, stagehands and recording professionals.
Industrial Hearing Screenings
We conduct industrial hearing tests. The service also includes advice on hearing protection and how to choose the right product for each employee.
Noise in the ears, or tinnitus, is an ongoing problem affecting many people. This condition is a symptom of a deteriorating or damaged middle ear. Patients describe buzzing or whooshing sounds. The condition is rated from mild to profound and can affect daily life. Treatments include methods that train the brain to regard tinnitus as background noise; using sound machines that mask tinnitus; using sound producing hearing aids that help mask noise and train the brain for relief.
